Hi
I have read many posts about disconnecting Facebook but they do not work for my version of Spotify. I want to be able to disconnect my Facebook and then re-connect to another Facebook account. I do not have an option in - Edit - Preferecnces - to disconnect from Facebook. Can anyone help?
Hello. On Friday, I accidentally disconnected my Spotify account from my Facebook account. After doing that, I reconnected both and I still do not have access to my playlists and my account is no longer a Premium account. I also no longer have the option to disconnect from FB under Preferences. Please advise. Thanks.

I have no option to disconnect my facebook in the preferences.
I want to delete facebook, but still use Spotify.
What should I do.
Thanks.

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂
There is no way to seperate a Spotify account created using Facebook from Facebook, so you will need to make a new account.
I have written a tutorial about it here 😉

Does that mean I have lost my playlists forever? Will I get double-charged if I create a new account & upgrade the new account to Premium?

Sorry my reply was for the post below yours, didn't see yours before!
It sounds like you are signing into a duplicate account, have a read at this post for some instructions on how to get back to your original account. If you have any issues, there is a link to get in touch in that post too.

Peter,
Hope I can explain my situation clearly and get some much needed help!
I have two separate accounts...the first Spotify account I made, I connected to my Facebook. I had the worst time signing in on my phone, so I created another Spotify account with a college email. Now that I'm graduated, I'm not sure when/if I'll lose access to that .edu email, and I would rather have that account tied to my original email (the one that is unfortunately linked up with Facebook). I read through some of the other posts, and there doesn't seem to be a way to fix this. I figured I would double check though!
Thanks!
