If i'm about to switch to premium, but i want to use the $1 discount for 3 months first. After those 3 months am i allowed to switch to a student account for $5 instead of $10?

You are allowed as long as you use completely your first subscription, after those 3 months, you can chose any deal you like.You are subjected to that deal until it ends.
