Facebook App Not Updating

Ever since Spotify decided users didn't need to star songs anymore, my Spotify app on Facebook has stopped updating with my activity on Spotify. It used to update with songs I recently starred, top artists I listen to, and playlists and radio stations I created, but now it is just stuck on songs I starred a long while ago:

My listening activity on Spotify still shows up in the Facebook ticker, but this doesn't aggregate anywhere and none of my other activity is updated anymore. I have ensured that the Spotify app is allowed to post on my behalf on Facebook and that the option to share my Spotify activity on Facebook is checked in Spotify. I tried removing the Spotify app from Facebook, then reconnecting to Facebook from Spotify.com, but the Spotify app came back as a Facebook profile section showing the exact same thing:

That is something different. The Spotify app never published things in the News Feed, they always showed up in the Ticker. And all of certain types of activity like starring songs, creating playlists, listening to top artists were aggregated into the Spotify app I posted a screenshot of above. The other apps I have such as SoundCloud, Vimeo, and Last.FM Scrobbler all work like this; the activity from these apps doesn't show up in the News Feed, but it is aggregated together and updated in the app on my profile so that someone who visits my page can see what I've listened to or liked recently in each app. 

However, the Spotify app no longer updates with anything, so I'm wondering why it even exists anymore, or if Spotify's recent update broke it, or if it is just not working for me, in which case, I'd like to know what I need to do to fix it.

I'm having the same issue, looking at my activity log it shows that spotify stopped sharing to facebook since may. I can still manually share from spotify to my fb-wall. , But what i'm listening to now doesnt seem to be working anymore.

all options seem to be checked in the correct way, in spotify aswel as in the spotify app setttings on facebook.

I deleted the spotify app from facebook, and reinstalled it. Spotify itself showed me the pop up window asking for permission to share to facebook.

but its'still pretty much dead for no appearent reason

any Ideas anyone?

Just double checked, mine client is definitely still scrobbling to my activity log on Facebook. 

I would suggest opening a case with the Spotify support team directly using the online contact form too and see if they have any ideas. 

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

Yup of course! 

Got my Spotify box on my timeline, which shows my starred playlist (I think, it doesn't match perfectly!):

And my activity log which shows my activity (only just booted up, so only 2 tracks this morning so far!):

Yeah, if you look at my screenshots above my Spotify app shows just the starred songs as well, although that hasn't updated consistently since Spotify took away starring.

However, I think I figured out what happened to everything else. Apparently Facebook and Spotify arranged to have all of your Spotify activity be absorbed into Facebook's Music app, so that is where all your public playlists, radio stations, and top artists will now show up instead of in the Spotify app like they used to. Which makes me wonder why they even still have the Spotify app on profiles anymore if all it is now is the starred playlist; this should be integrated into Music like everything else. And apparently, even though it is called "Music", it really is just Spotify because it doesn't look at any of your other music activity from apps like Pandora, SoundCloud, or Last.fm.
