Family Premium

Family Premium

I am currently on Premium but am planning to accept an invite to join family premium.

 

Once i join I understand that my account becomes a sub account. What happens to the sub account from what i read is that in the event the main account is cancelled all sub account revert back to free.

 

How do I ensure that in the event that the main account get cancelled, my account automatically reverts back to Premium because i do not want to lose my saved songs.

 

Also do we get an email alert to the owner of a sub account saying that the Spotify sub account has been reverted back to free due to the main account cancelling service? At least that would give a heads up to the sub account.

Hi @CCOID

 

As what I've understand from Premium for Family FAQ, since you have a regular Premium subscription before joining the Premium for Family, then you don't have to worry, any Premium time you have remaining will resume if you leave Premium for Family.

 

So let's say for example, the Premium for Family owner canceled his subscription, you will be removed from his Premium for Family, but your (old) regular Premium will resume 🙂
