Family plan says we are in different countries

Family plan says we are in different countries

My family plan won't let me invite my girlfriend even though we are living at the same address.

 

When she tries to accept my spotify invite it says we are in different countries.

 

Upon investigating it does say on my account overview page that my country is GB, but when I click to Edit Profile it correctly has my country as Norway (as it should be).

 

Please can someone take a look.

Yeah, I tried to add my brother, and the system says that we are from different countries, Sh**t, does not have any support for users?

I’d love to try and help.

 

Do you get the same error message when trying to add her in an incognito window/different browser?

 

Also, do your account's countries match when you check your profiles at: https://spotify.com/account/overview/?

 

If you’re seeing Norway, and GB show on your account, that’s not cool.

 

In this case, just to be sure i’d recommend reaching out to the folks at Spotify Cares. They’ll be able to take a look backstage at exactly what’s happening. 🙂

I do have the same problem. I created my account back in Spain and I live in Germany now but I´ve changed my spotify settings and my payment methods hoping that that would be enough... My girlfriend and I live right now in the same apartment and she canceled her premium suscription to join the Family plan, now she can´t use her Spotify premium neither the Family plan. It´s really annoying.

I hope somebody has an answer to this topic.

That's odd but don't worry we'll be able to help out backstage and make sure that everything is set up correctly.

It shows GB on the 'Account overview' page, but shows 'Norway' on the 'Edit Profile' screen.
