Family subscription - code does not 'redeem'

Hi,

 

I've recently upgraded to a family subscription however the code which is generated when I add a family member fails to redeem on the link, the error message is:

 

"For some reason, your code isn't being accepted. This could be because you're already a Premium subscriber. Or it could be a technical glitch. Please make sure you entered your code correctly, and contact our customer service team if you continue to have problems."

 

Tried cancelling and re-adding the user which does change the code but the error message is the same.

 

Need help.

Hi there!

 

The invited msut be on free in order to redeem the code, you should contact with Spotify Consumer Support filling this contact form, or tweeting to @SpotifyCares (ENG) or @SpotifyAyuda (ESP).

 

 

 


If you receive an automated email that leads you back to the community or help pages, reply to it (even if it's from "no-reply") and one of the Spotify team members will get back to you as soon as possible.

 

 

 

Don't forget to check your Spam Box 😉

I had the problem. Solved it by clearing browser data.
