Famliy subscription signup problems where accounts were originally set up in different countries

 

PLAN - Premium Family Subscription

 

Hi,

 Having major issues trying to get the family onto the premium family subscription. Our home and account is in Denmark but we are currently living in New Zealand. We want to have the family subscription (paying for it in Denmark) for us all but currently only two of us can sign up for it and 2 of us cant.

Im guessing it is because the two who cant we set up their free spotify accounts here in NZ  and the two of us who can set ours up originally in Denmark?

We all reside at the same address in New Zealand (which is on our subscription as home address). Is there anyway we can get the two family members onto our family account that cant complete the sign-up if they werent originally set up in Denmark?

We dont really all want to set up a whole new family account in NZ while we still want to pay and have access to the Denmark spotify and I believe so long as we have premium it doesnt matter where we live?

Any help much appreciated

Hey @macins,

 

We understand your concerns with this. In order to join a Premium for Family plan, an account must have its country settings matched with the Premium for Family owner's. 

 

In order to change an account's country settings, you must be located in the country you're trying to change to. 

 

The best thing to do here is that you create a new Premium for Family plan with a new account. Find out more here
