Hello Everybody
I'm Label Owner and i want to ask a question.
Don't know where to really ask that question.
Spotify haven't paid yet royalties for febrauary , march and april.
Anybody have idea why and when they will pay royalties?
Are here any Label Owners and Artists who can help me?
Solved! Go to Solution.
That is correct. I'm using DistroKid for my stuff.
As mentioned in my earlier posts, I highly recommend reaching out to your aggregator about this so they can check things out backstage.
Thanks!
Okay, so i'd recommend that you wait on an update message from Label Engine ๐ There's really not much else you can do now except wait.
Thanks!
Hey @Columbus34,
I'd recommend reaching out to your aggregator so they can look into this and let you know what's happening.
Thanks ๐
As fr as i know this problem have almost all labels and distributors. I just wnt to know when this will be solved and paid.
Is there any way to contact anybody from Spotify who might know anything?
That doesn't sound right. I own a label myself and haven't really had any issues.
So yeah.. i'd recommend reaching out to your aggregator so they can take a closer look at your issue.
Your aggregator will then reach out to their Spotify contact if needed.
Thanks ๐
Ok just to clarify You have payment for February , March and April from Spotify? Can i know what distributor are You using?

We are with the aggregator Label Engine and we had the following message at the start of the month re: Spotify
"As of 10am on May 1st 2017, Spotify have not yet provided us with royalty reports for February. This is due to an update required on their side and as far as we are aware affects all distributors. Spotify are unable to provide us with an exact date that the reports are going to be available, however please rest assured that we are in constant contact with them and will send an additional statement to you the moment we receive them."

Hi
Yes, that's what we are doing. I was just confiming the original question for Columbus34 that the problem does exist for other labels as well. I'll confirm once any update has been given as well.
Thanks
Its really strange, I am using Distrokid, we have more than 30k streams but today I have surprised that Spotify payment report udapted from "Not Yet Reported" to "0", which means no payment for March 2017??!!
Where I can ask
Please help
Yes from this page @Maxim
Interesting. You should reach out to the DistroKid Support team about this: support@distrokid.com
This is highly unusual for Spotify not to be paying and I am concerned. There are also several other smaller music sites that are holding back payment to artists. I've been trying to get an answer from TUNECORE and no response via email or website. There needs to be someone at least informing the artists when concerns like this arise. Is Tunecore the best place to distribute?

Hi there @TheIrishRovers,
Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community.
I'd recommend you contact our Artist Support team directly, through one of the channels here. They should be able to have a look backstage and see what's going on.
Hope this helps ๐
