You can get the link by doing this:

  1. Go to your email inbox.
  2. Right click on the email message
  3. Click view message source
  4. Scroll down until you find something with www.spotify.com in it, and copy the entire url in parentheses.
  5. It will look something like this, except with a lot more after it. Make sure you copy the entire line. http:/www.spotify.com/purchase/product/welcome-back/
  6. Paste the url in the url box.

Edit: For some reason Gmail doesn't have an option to view the message source. Still trying to figure out how to get the url in Gmail. You can do it with Outlook though..

It worked! I read through all the previous posts and still couldn't get it to work and in on of the post this link was displayed www.spotify.com/purchase/product/welcome-back/  so on a whim I clicked it and it took me to the welcome back free 30 day subscription page were I resubmitted my card info and received another free 30 days of premium.

guys it'd save you lots of time if you read a post or two above instead of just jumping on the reply button. myself and a few others already said the situation is resolved. i actually saw someone post a screenshot of the email they recieved about the second free trial two posts below my screenshot showing exactly the same thing, they were asking if anyone else had the same problem of the links in the email not working.. if they'd read back, they would've answered their own question lol 😉

I got the same mail, with my Id on it.. Like the number you are given when you get a spotify.. And there is a button that says "Claim you 30 days fre premium here" and there is no link?

Yeah exactly, pretty much every other mail I've gotten from spotify is with my name so I'm thinking this might be something fishy, it like "Hi 1232541435134" something like that. I can't like you say actually press the button BUT I can press the text, also felt weird.

Hello!

It is most likely the Spotify Premium Trial, you can sign up for that here. According to this post, emails from that domain are officially from Spotify.

Hope this helped 🙂

Whats a Spotify Rock Star?

I've already had my premium trial

Hmm... that is really strange. When you sign up in Facebook though you are assigned random numbers like that haha 🙂 When you click on the text, what happens?

Hope this helped 🙂

That's why I'm asking if it's legit, if I didn't worry about that I would've clicked it a long time ago, I just don't want to get a virus PLUS it seems weird to start a email with "hello@"

I think its legit, because i just checked my historie in my mail with hello@news.spotifymail.com and i have alot from spotify on that mail.. so ithink its al right*.. just a broken link?

Edit: I got my starter mail from that email aswell... So its legit.. just broken??

I also have more then one from that sender but all of those seem to not only give me something or just information there's always a link that's adverticed for me to want to click it , so I'm still sketchy, sorry.

i got the same email, but the link wont open. i had my trial and the email states it will give me another free 30 day premium to come back to them

i got the same thing about getting another free trial, the links are broken and when i try the normal free trial it just says i've already had my trial, i feel kinda disappointed now >.<

Any idea how to get this link? I got the e-mail too but I can't press the link either.

Is there a e-mail address we can use to ask about this?

i sent an email to customer service , a tweet to their Twitter account and replied directly to the email letting them know of the problem, Hopefuly i will get a quick reply back with a solution

i had the same email from hello@news.spotifymail.com

I've already had a free premium a while back and the e-mail is saying "Go on, let's try again - here's a month's premium for free"

but when i click "get premium now" and "claim your 30 days free premium" links nothing works.

is anyone having the same problem?

it was sent this evening

Having the same problem was considering the free trial again and the link is not there.  Just button.

I can see one of the Rising Stars has escalated this to the Spotify team, I've also dropped a request to have this looked into for you guys.

Hopefully its just a temporary fault in the system (or the email)!

Works!!!

I got the same e-mail and the links do not work.  Seems like a legit e-mail.  The method posted above is not working for me.  When I view the message source, I hit ctrl+f to quickly find www.spotify and there is nothing in the source that starts with that.  Would really like to try another free month because I am going to be traveling during the holidays and would love to use it on my phone again.
