Friend List is gone, just find friends with facebook ?

My Question or Issue

hey folks,

i really wonder why nobody got this problem yet. i had my spotify friend list in the right sidebar for years without i was ever connected to facebook (i dont even have an account there). i could always see what my friends are listing...

since some weeks the list is replaced by an other list. in this new list is just written "See what your friends are playing", "find friends"... there are some unknown friends listed under that text. i can also click on "find friends" and than i just get an popup with "see what your friends are playing" - "connect to facebook".... no other way possible.

so my question, why is my list, which was great working over years, gone?!

i still have my followers and friends, i can see them over the account setting, but why i cant see them in the list?

Does the issue persist if you log out and back in a few times? What about from a different device?
