Hacked account issue

Hacked account issue

I have problems regarding my account. I have premium subscription partnered with Fido, and all my login credentials are same as my Facebook acount.

First problem is someone is using my account. new playlists poping up that i have never created and deleted all my previous ones. I tried to use the "sign out all of the devices" on the web login. But I tested this with my phone on offline mode, It doesnt log it out at all.
Disconnecting the device through "offline devices" doesnt log it out at all. It just removes all the downloads.
Secondly, I can't "set device password" since I found it could be the only way to secure my account. But It also doesn't work. The E-mail link were being sent to me leads to an error page. I searched though the forums and found out that I can set it at my facebook account. I did everything and set a "device password" for spotify. Again I tested, I tried logging in with my phone but it doesn't ask for password at all.

I'm afraid the hacker could still be using my acount through offline device. For a paid service, spotify security system could have been better. Is there anything can be done here? I just need the hacker to stop using my account. Any suggestions or help is apprieciated.
I'm gonna leave a screenshot of the hacker created here. Thanks

Hey there @22kfbgvngyoyqnw, welcome to the community!

That doesn't sound good. Seeing that you've tried the most common ways to make whoever got access into your account, there's not much else you can try. Try checking again in the offline devices and removing the ones that aren't yours. Reset your facebook password. If that still doesn't help, I'd suggest getting in touch with a member of the Spotify staff to take a look behind the scenes for you.

You can reach them on social media (Twitter or Facebook) or by using the contact form. Make sure, if you use the latter, to reply to the automated email you'll receive directing you back to the help pages, even if it's from a no-reply!

Support usually gets back within a day or two.

Let me know how it goes 🙂

Hi thank you for your reply. I did change my facebook password already. and for the offline devices theres nothing left there I removed them all. What I'm worried about is it doesnt sign out my account that is currently on offline so the hacker may not or may still using my account while its currently offline. Since then, there haven been any suspicious activity in my account, but its still better to be sure to get him off my account. As soon as I find that my account still being used or any suspicious activity, I'll contact spotify directly.

I'll update whatever is up
Thanks

Hey again, glad to hear that @22kfbgvngyoyqnw 🙂

I wanted to add that even if they have offline access, they shouldn't have it forever since Premium users need to go online every 30 days, so Spotify can check that the subscription is still active and count track plays to compensate artists. Synced tracks will become unavailable otherwise.

Let me know if you have any more questions!
