Help - I am not in a foreign country

Help - I am not in a foreign country

Dear all,

I need help with this issue because I really don't understand what's going on here. I am a "standard" user, not a premium user, and until a month ago I was using Spotify normally without problems. I live in Italy and last month I was on holidays in Croatia. I didn't use Spotify there however, but now I came back and I am not able to enter my account because it says that I am not allowed to use it in a foregin country for more than two weeks. But the strangest thing is that it lists United Kingdom as my country I cannot change my settings. It says that my country is United Kingdom, and I was never in United Kingdom since I opened this account. And I never set United Kingdom as my country. It was always Italy! I don't know how or why, but Spotify changed my settings by temselves and they just don't let me change them back. When I try to set Italy as my country, it just goes back automatically to United Kingdom. Can anyone tell me why? And how can I change it back, pelase?

I'm sorry to hear about this. You'll have to get in touch with Spotify staff through the contact form, and they'll be able to sort this out for you.
When you get an automated response, make sure to reply to that email, even if the address says 'no-reply', as this makes sure your information is sent to the right team.
