My Question or Issue
My account was recently compromised for about two days. Spotify detected this and helped me reset my password. However, my history is now filled with songs and artists I never listened to. Is there any way to delete my history from September 10 to September 12?
Hey @DJMIAM,
Thanks for reaching out. We're truly sorry to hear about what happened to your account.
Unfortunately, it's currently not possible to edit or reset your listening history to a previous date. However, if you keep listening to your favorite tracks, the items you see in your Recently played tab will eventually be replaced by your own music. Also, concerning the reinforcement and protection of your account - check out the tips we've given here.
We hope you'll find this information useful and we're here for you if there's anything else.
Take care!
That's a crappy limitation, IMO. Why can't I remove or hide something from my history? At least have an option to 'downvote' something so it doesn't influence future recommendations.
Hey there you, Yeah, you! 😁 Welcome - we're glad you joined the Spotify Community! While you here, let's have a fun game…
