I use Spotify on my phone, laptop, ps4, google home, and anything else I am not entirely sure. But I doubt that this is 

 

My Question or Issue

 

Hi! 

I had two different accounts, one on my school gmail, and one for my personal. I purchased premium on my school account and I have had it for a while, and might I say it is a very good purchase ;). Anyways, I decided to move my school account over to personal by just changing the email. So to do that I deleted my personal account that was occupying my personal email and then when I went to my school account and tried to change the email it said that the email was in use. I have the confirmation email that it was deactivated as well, I understand that I have a 7 day take back so that might be the issue but I was just wondering if it was something else. Also I never even used my personal account anyways so it isn't logged into that account on any of my devices (if that is important or not)

It can take 14-30 days for your email address to become available again after closing the Spotify account associated with it.
