I am following the instructions https://www.spotify.com/us/help/faq/tech/secondary-account-created/ because Im still logged into my original account at work. Hopefully I can use it to delink the new account that is connected to my facebook and link face book to my original account. However I cant unsubscribe from the my free trial on the new account. When I try to cancel on the account page it just points me to a renewal. You guys really need to make this stuff easier, not a jumbled mess.

If you signed up via Sprint, you need to cancel on their billing systems not directly on Spotify's website. From the offer terms on their website:
Cancel anytime by calling Sprint at 888-211-4727 or *2 from your Sprint phone.

Can I continue trial when I cancel e.g. after 10 days, or is it not restorable?
Usually the trial will end after 30 days and you can cancel any time before that.
If you run into trouble,
I suggest you contact support for help
https://www.spotify.com/about-us/contact/contact-spotify-support/
If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it.
Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.
I think you do not understand me right. I try explain another way:
I start free trial....it is running 10days. I decide stop it on this day. What happened with remaining 20 days, will they expire anyway, or can I split trial on two parts?
You should be able to keep the remaining days after you cancel.
However, if you run into any trouble and it doesn't give you the remaining days,
you can contact support for help

If you don't see a cancel option,
You might have subscribed to premium through the iPhone or iPad app.
To cancel your subscription, you need to cancel it from iTunes. Your subscription is being handled by Apple.
Information on how to do this can be found here:
