How to change Discover Weekly Picture?

I understand that if you change your Facebook picture, Spotify should pick up the change and change your Discover Weekly picture, yet it doesn't currently... Pretty awkward since the picture I have is one of the past with my ex which sounds petty but ruins the vibe of listening to music to relax.

I made my Spotify account via Facebook as well so the previous solutions in other posts do not apply... I was wondering if anyone knew of a definitive way to change it if you created your Spotify via Facebook, or does anyone know how long it takes for Spotify to update the picture to my new Facebook picture?

Btw, I understand the Spotify page says "it may take a little time" for the picture to change, but I changed it 2 weeks ago... A little time is ~3-5 days. Anyone know the exact time it takes to update???

you may have to update to the newest version! either on your phone or desktop

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Spotify multiple times and it still wont update it 😕

You alsno need to change your profile picture, the discover weekly picture is based on that ;D

And it is probably going to change when the new discover weekly is released (on mondays).

And yes your right it should just change immediately...

I changed my facebook picture 2 weeks ago... 2 Mondays have passed ever since then... Still no change on these "new updates every monday". Pretty sure the people who code the scripts for Spotify that connect to Facebook either don't know what they are doing or are just not writing the script for it to update properly...

I did not change the picture but I removed it.

Uninstall your Spotify
Go to Facebook>Settings>Account Settings>Apps>Logged in Facebook>Search Spotify>Remove App.

Then install Spotify.
Log-in using Facebook.
