Hi, I'm in the US on a duo plan, and I've tried this on both my laptop and phone. My profile picture is one I took in 7th or 8th grade when I first got Spotify, many years (and devices) later, I can no longer find the original picture in my photos. I don't want to change my pfp and lose it, but I will if there's truly no way to do this. My question is, is there any way to download my personal pfp from Spotify?

Hi there @denverfluid,
Thank you for your reply.
Unfortunately, there isn't a way to download the profile picture from the app.
However, you can open your Account Overview from a desktop browser (preferably Chrome). Then, right click on the picture and select Open image in a new tab. It will show you a bigger version of the image.
It is not the original picture, but it can serve as a workaround in the meantime.
Hope this helps!
Yo, might be 2 late, anyway.. just dl a Pictures Downloader Extension on Chrome, log in to your Spotify Account on Chrome and press on the Extension, there will be every Picture you can download, just tested rn, works perfectly.
Hi there @denverfluid,
thanks for reaching out !
If i understand correctly, there's a profile picture associated with your account which was uploaded and you wish to download back to your device ?
Can you please let me know the following:
- Which devices are in use
- Which type of login are your using email/Facebook/Google log in ?
Thanks 🙂
That is exactly right. The devices currently in use are my phone (iPhone SE 2), laptop (MacBook pro 2015), and my desktop (not sure on specs). I have access to the device I originally used to upload the picture, but it's with my parents and I haven't had time to retrieve it yet.
For the login, I just use one of my primary emails, nothing fancy. I have changed the password once over the years, if that matters.
Thank you for the response!

Perfect! This is exactly what I needed, thank you so much for your answer 🙂
It seems as if no matter what browser I try to use this solution on, it only downloads the picture in a 50x50 pixel format, I am quite sad because I'd like to change my profile picture but it's the picture of my deceased dog I lost three and a half years prior to this point.

Wow very helpful to know! Unfortunately it’s indeed too late for my old profile pic but I will be downloading that and using it in the future, thank you 🙂
No Problem 🙂
