How to switch off Spotify spamming my facebook friends

How can I avoid that spotify sends out emails to my friends when I update a playlist? This is an outrageous breach of privacy and I wonder why there has not yet been a class action lawsuit against them!

If you wish to change your own notifications emails, you can do so from your Profile page. However, you wouldn't be able to change the settings of what your friends currently receive.

Are you saying whenever I add some songs to a playlist some of my facebook friends will automatically get emails and there's no way to avoid this?

Yes, unless your friends opt-out of the emails from their own online profiles.

Your friends should only get emails from playlists that they subscribe to or if your playlists are published.
