I got hacked, and Spotify costumer service is no help!

Hello everyone,

I have spent the last 2 MONTHS trying to contact spotify, and they have been incredibly vague with their help! It just feels like they are not putting an effort at all to protect the paying costumer from who hacked their account.

 

I have a premium account, and had alot of songs saved there. I used it alot, until my playlists were gone and it started to not work anymore... Then i just couldnt log in! My password wasn't accepted. So, I was hacked. 

 

There is another person using my account, probably looking at my cc info(?), and worst of all, IM PAYING FOR IT.

I have sent endless e-mails to spotify saying that No, i cant reset my password, because OBVIOUSLY it's not my e-mail in there anymore!

 

I even already confirmed my identify to them, by saying my zip code, last cc digits, and date of birth.

 

But still, nothing. And now they just stopped replying at all!

 

I never felt so insulted by a costumer service, (and I have had my share fair of problems with horrible cellphone carriers, which we all know can be a pain in the ***), because I have already proven that i have been hacked, I'm asking for help, and they CANT EVEN CANCEL THAT ACCOUNT AND MAKE ME STOP PAYING FOR SOMEONE I DONT KNOW TO HAVE A PREMIUM ACC.

 

All they did was offer me 1 month premium!!! And nothing else, no more help. So.. tell me, how am i supposed to even use it????

 

It's gotten to the point that I'm using my facebook to have another account (a FREE one) to be able to track my old playlists and listen to my saved songs on the hacked profile which im paying for.... And in the meantime i get all the ads.

 

I really hope someone will reply to this now because otherwise I will have to start looking into other measures I might have to take.

These issues can't be resolved in open forum I'm afraid. Keep emailing and the account team will deal with the problem.

If you're using Paypal, try to cancel your subscription first..

Your missing playlists can be recovered through your account upon login. But for now, let me escalate this to someone which can assist.

Yes, I'm afraid so. But I wanted to post here to attract some attention to the case since nothing is really happening and I don't know what else to do 😞

Thank you for your reply and help. I don't use paypal, so I can't do much. I can see my playlists, I can even see the name of the person who is using my account now when i see my profile.
