Problems with Student Discount

Long story short, I deleted my Facebook account for personal reasons, and since my Spotify Premium account was linked to Facebook , I can't use it anymore. I cancelled premium on that account (which was using the Student Discount) and made a new Spotify Account not linked to Facebook, and when I went to buy Premium again, it said I'm not eligible for the Student discount. I'm not sure if the issue has to do with my old account or something else, but I'm currently enrolled at the University of Texas at Austin, and the email linked to this account is my student email.

I checked my status with Spotify's service, and it said I wasn't eligible for the discount, and when prompted, I sent the statement above to the Spotify Support team, only to get an automatic response saying I should post here to find help. What should I do? This has been an obnoxious process stemming from the fact that I don't want my Facebook account anymore, and find it ridiculous that I should have to keep it just to use Spotify. I've got proof of being an enrolled student, so why is this not working? Does my old account need to be deleted by Spotify?
