I I have signed out and signed back in and uninstalled the app and reinstalled it but continue to get ads

Hi there! Thanks for reaching out.

 

While Spotify doesn’t play ads that interrupt the music listening experience of Premium subscribers, some podcasts may include advertising, host-read endorsements, or sponsorship messages.

 

Can you confirm for us if you're getting ads in podcasts or in music?

 

If you hear ad breaks in your playlists, this would not be expected and I'll try our best to solve it.

 

I'd recommend trying  logging out again > restarting your device > logging back in to sync up your subscription status with your device.

 

You might also be logging in to a free account instead. This article will help you locate your Premium account.

Hi did you resolve this? I get ads also and not just podcasts and audio books. Really annoying!

If you have a Premium account but you're getting ads while listening to music, I'd recommend trying  logging out again > restarting your device > logging back in to sync up your subscription status with your device.

I’m also getting this. Definitely logged in to my premium account and these are not host read or inserted ads, as they interrupt the stream and sometimes are the same ad 3x in a row.

Hi there.

 

They are spotify ads within my podcasts. They has a separate track time (30 seconds) and have a notification at the top saying "your podcast will continue after the break."

 

I have trying logging out and logging back in. This did not solve the issue.

 

I can confirm it's a premium account, not a free one.

 

I wanted to show the date and time in the screenshot, hence why it's in partial transition.
