I live in the US, use Spotify in the US but its not working

I live in the US, and am trying to use Spotify in the US but it says "Can't connect to Spotify. Your country does not match the one set in your profile. To continue use." My profile is set to US which is where I am now. Why isn't it working and how do I fix it?
