I'm getting error 408, can not upgrade to Premium...

It says "Spotify is currently not available in your country." in every section of the site. I can't upgrade, I can't add a new payment card.

I'm from Sweden and currently abroad. I should be able to upgrade, right? But it's not allowing me.

Yes, I know. But I have had no problems with Spotify here before, because I am swedish citizen.

Have you been premium before? I think you can only upgrade your account status within the countries which Spotify operates in.

The problem here is as @SuperWisdom says that you can't upgrade in a country that doesn't have Spotify.

You can use a VPN to pretend you're in Sweden to subscribe. I'm a bit hazy on the lagality vis a vis the spotify terms and conditions though.
