I want free Spotify on my Iphone but I signed up on iPad

I signed up for free spotify on my iPad because it would be easier on my eyes to pick music, but I really only want to use it on my Iphone. When I try to sign in on phone it says, "you've already created an account with this email address" If I delete the account on my ipad it says I will no longer be able to use my email address. What do I do? I thought it woukd be like other apps and share between phone and ipad

Please try logging in with your username and password instead of your email address and password.
