Is Spotify now just a con to steal money from people

Is Spotify now just a con to steal money from people

I logged in to my free account, signed up for premium so spotify happy to take my money as soon as they did i have become locked out of my account and it wont accept my log in or password.  Think they so big now they can steal millions and people cant do anything about it

Hi @jonescooke21 welcome to the Spotify Community! 

 

Would you be able to dig out the Spotify Premium receipt from your email or texts? If you could find that and check that you're logging into Spotify with the username on the receipt that would be great as a duplicate account may have been created. If it's a facebook created account it'll be a 10 digit numeric username.

 

If you don't have or can't find your receipt then I would suggest reaching out to Spotify Care through this anonymous contact form, it'll not need any user ID. 

 

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the Knowledgebase or the Spotify Community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address. Spotify Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.

Why is it when you make a complaint a lot of companies blame the customer? This is totally unacceptable behaviour and no wonder there is a lot of disgruntled Spotify users! Of course we used the same log in, password, email and tried every combination. It didn't work! As there is no contactable person we have deleted account and left Spotify for good! We will ends our to warn as many people as possible not to use Spotify as there is zero customer service and product doesn't even work!
