My Question or Issue

The email in my spotify account is not the same as my facebook email. When I try to change it, it sends it to some random email that was auto generated in the email spot of my account. I have been paying for premium for a couple of years and wanted to secure my account with my personal email. I do not get any updates because it goes to this email that doesn't exist and when I change it, it asks for a password that I don't have, since I log in using facebook. I can not ever get a response from spotify support because my email is not in there and I never get emailed at my facebook email. I get the security behind this, but I can't even speak to anyone.

 

How can I change the email, so that I can remove facebook log in and use my personal email?

Considering you don't have access to your email account, I recommend that you be in touch with the Customer Support via chat or Twitter on @SpotifyCares or even via Facebook. If you cannot recover your account, I think you'll need to create a new account.
