Linked college to wrong account

Linked college to wrong account

I accidently linked my college with a wrong spotify account. I got premium before realizing that I had made said mistake. Therefore I deleted my account and tried to link my school to the account I actually used, but it says that those credentials are already being used by another account. How can I get it to stop saying this and get premium with the student discount on the correct account?

Hi @Pbrown97, welcome to the community!

 

I suggest you get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to assist you with this (choose Account - Other - I still need help - and basically copy/paste what you told us here).

 

You can also Tweet / DM @SpotifyCares if you use Tweeter.

 

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply email address) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible. Give it 24 to 48hrs, also make sure you're checking your Spam/Junk folder because sometimes emails might end up there.
