My Question or Issue

I recently changed countries permanently so I did what this asked for the free plan  and I changed my location, saved it. But the desktop app still wouldn't let me use Spotify for free- it's asking me to subscribe for a plan, which I don't want to do. Thank you for the help.

Thanks for coming to the Community.

Unfortunately, the Free plan is currently not available in South Korea. In order to use Spotify, you must have Premium Individual or Duo.

It is common that not all subscription types are available initially when Spotify launches in a new region. Rest assured, they're always looking into opportunities to expand offers and available subscriptions on a case-by-case basis for each region.
