Hi, 

I created an account in the UK and I am currently in the UK and somehow I got the 408 error. What can I do?

Can you check if the same happens from a different device? Also, can you try a different WiFi or 3G/4G connection? Are you using a VPN? 

Could you check if your IP address is located in the United Kingdom here: http://www.whatsmyip.org/?
