Logging into old ipod touch - ios6

Hi,

I have an old ipod touch 4G that I dock on ihome. I use to run spotify on it but after a long time when I tried to login it gave an 409 error. I read that it is due to ios6 support been taken off by the app. I also read that you can login via your actual long username (the old one). Is there a way to find that one or any other way to play spotify on my old ipod touch? If anyone has figured it out please do share.

You can see your account's username here. If you're having trouble using Spotify on a device, you'll also need to make sure that particular device meets the current minimum system requirements.

Unfortunately, if your device doesn't meet the minimum requirements, it won't be possible to use Spotify and access Spotify content through the Spotify app or troubleshoot it properly.
