I don't don't know who I need to contact about this issue but my most recent payment and the one prior to that was $9.99 instead of the usual $4.99. I'm still a student...a freshman infact and wondering why I lost the discount!

Also, you have to be in a school in the USA.
The student discount lasts for one year and then you need to renew it.
Go to http://spotify.com/student and scroll down to read the terms and conditions on how to renew.
Support helped me out and got it renewed for me, also compensated me generously for what happened! Great customer service 🙂 I'll be a Spotify user for a quite a while ❤️
