MY ACCOUNT WAS Disabled

My banking instiution sent a payback order and my account was disabled. How do I enable my account active again. I already filled out a form to customer service. Literally have no music to listen all i do is stream spotify. I want  to get this resovled as quick as possible. I have over a 1000 songs on a playlist. Please help. my email is <snip>@live.com and the case number is

01117510.

When you contacted spotify, did you get an automated reply? if so, did you reply to that?

Yes I got an automated email but I was told not to reply to it. How soon can i get my profile enabled again?

Just reply to the automated email even if it says not to and someone will get back to you as soon as they can. Unfortunately disabled accounts are dealt with by the payments team.

 

I will also escalate your case to make sure its with the right people.

Is there any way i could get in to contact with the payment team. Its been about 30 days since my account was disabled. My banking institution made a mistake. I want to get this resolved as soon as possible.

Yeah I had the same problem. But I gave up already. No hope on getting an answer.

 

What bothers me the most is have no idea of what took place, don't even know what a chargeback is, and Spotify doesn't even give us a chance to fix whatever it is that might have happened. Incredibily direspectul and ineficient process.

 

I've been a loyal subscriber for more than a year. Not only that, but I have brought at least twenty friend on board. And now Spotify stabs me in the back like this. Really sad.

 

Anyway the case is 01118436 if anyone wants to help.

How long ago did you get in touch?

A chargeback is normally a payment which has been reversed by your bank or card issuer.

My first contact was last saturday.

Been a couple weeks now. My bank made a mistake, thought the charges were fraudlent. Is there any way I can reactivate my account with another form of payment at least???

With it being Christmas some cases especially payment related issues seem to be taking a little longer for the guys to get through. 

If you guys don't hear anything back by the end of this weekend, give us a shout here and we can escalate this further for you.

Its been about two weeks now. No one has contacted me in regards to my account. If i cant enable it. Can I atleast get the playlist.

When you contact the customer support team, did you get an automated response? If so, did you respond directly to that e-mail? Let us know! In the meanwhile, we can have your case number escalated for you.

Thanks @MikeyB for escalating it. It looks like someone has sent a reply, but we didn't hear back yet. It's not in a spam filter or something?

I've chased it up again and asked for someone to resend it, so keep an eye on your inbox!

You'll have to wait for them to respond back again as this will most likely have to be done through e-mail with the support team.

I havve had the same problem as people on this thread, having the chargeback error. I sent an email to the no reply email, and I was just wondering if you could also escalate my case because I use spotify very much in my life. Case #: 01369709
