Many tracks suddenly not-available

Hello there,

I know thtat sometimes tracks that first were available could turn in not-avaliable because of copyrights. But now suddenly more than half of the tracks in my playlists turned into not-available (mainly soundtracks). What happened? I would be greatly dissapointed if the music will not return! Can anybody give an explenation?

Joris

I asked Varese Sarabande. They responded very quickly: It's temporary due to a distribution change in Europe with Colleseum. Things should be back up within the next few weeks or a month.

Spotify's mission is to have all music available on Spotify. Sadly, that's not what all rightholders thinks. So I guess that a label, rightholder, artist or several of them decided to pull their catalog from Spotify. What you can do is to get in touch with the labels etc. and see why they've pulled their catalog and if they're going to get it back up again. Sometimes a label pulls their catalog and then upload it again, because they've changed stuff with their artists, albums, tags or whatever. I've seen that before and then I contacted the label, and got the answer that they would bring their cataloge back. Hope this helps 🙂
