Missing Playlists

A few days ago i logged onto spotify to find my playlists had all dissapeared. I researched the topic and found that its often caused by having more than one account and that this can be rectified by logging back on to the original account. This has not worked. I used the original account name and password I have always used and it has not returned any of my playlists. I had hundreds on there and would much appreicate some help.
