My 'Heavy Rotation' is a load of stuff I've never listened to or heard of

My Question or Issue

 I've just logged in to my iPhone Spotify for the first time in about three days, and it started blurting terrible EDM at me.  Went to the home screen and my 'heavy rotation' is a load of stuff I've never heard of, or would ever listen to.  Changed my password, but how did this get there and how do I remove it as it will ruin all my regular station playlist algorithms with that rubbish in there?

Be sure to check this Support article.

The best course of action when something like that happens is to create a new account with a different email address from the one you're using (Tip: don't use the one you use for Facebook). That will give you a different Spotify username.

Once you have this new account, fill out the contact form, and someone from Spotify will be happy to help you migrate your Premium privileges to this new account.

Same issue here. Why are there playlists that I've never played before appearing in my Heavy Rotation list containing songs that I would never listen to? I logged out on all devices and changed my password too. If this is a Spotify feature, it's a confusing one and a very poor one. Really not impressed. You should at least be able to opt out of it so that your feed isn't contaminated with rubbish music.

The songs added under Heavy rotation are songs you've had on repeat. If you notice playlists or songs being added there or to your library, we suggest that you check out @Guido's answer for further help.
