My Year In Music 2016

I am reading so many different answers here on the forums, and I just want a final answer. I have been a Spotify Premium user for almost 5 years, and was very much looking forward to see My Year In Music 2016. Turns out that my email notifications was turned off by default, never even thought about it since I've never recieved an email from Spotify, but after reading that this years stats will be sent by email I turned them on a couple of days ago. I see some answers saying that they are still being sent out, and others saying the cut-off date for turning on notifications was Dec 2. What is the final answer? And if the cut-off date was Dec 2, why wasn't I informed somehow? I can't believe this is happening, it's not like this was a service that cost Spotify millions of dollars to upkeep.

I have been in conversation with one of the Spotify employees and they informed me that the cut-off date for notifications was Dec. 2nd, so (as far as I have been made aware) it unfortunately won't be possible to get your "Year In Music 2016" email. If you still haven't received your email, there is still at least some hope! There is a web app called visualify.io that uses Spotify API to tell you your top artists and tracks from the last month, year, and your all-time most played music.

Unfortunately, it doesn't include all the fancy statistics such as minutes listened or total number of plays of top artists and songs, but it is certainly better than nothing.

This have bin such a big buzz every year. I even read an article where they said this gona be the best one yet. And then sorry my french  they F=#K up this bad. Spotify is a big company, surley they cant make a good feature bad. 

How can they also expect all premium user having email notifacation on? I had all mine on but i have yet to recive a freaking email. Its not liek we got a heads up on twitter or anything. Its just plain stupid....

Hi, i've been a user of spotify for quite a while too and through out year i've gotten emails from spotify for stuff like new albums. But I havent gotten an email about my year in music, do you have a clue why I spotify didnt send me one?

This is lame, when you have millions of users looking forward to a feature that may be the only thing setting you apart from all of the other music services. MY notifications are on, and I got not e-mails from you about my year in music.

You guys need to fix this. 

We can all just move to I-Tunes, and have music right away.

This is extremely disapointing! PLEASE FIX WIHTOUT HAVING TO OPT INTO AN EMAIL.  I have never recieved emails previously and I have always been able ot access this information before. And I missed an arbitrary cut off date? This is unacceptable.

yeah why would you have to sign up for my year in music i have been looking forward to it since jan 1 and the past years all you had to do sign in and there it was why make it such a hassle, i love spotify but they really cucked up this time

I finally recived my mail. Why would they make something really good and interesting to something almost useless? Why not just give us the same stats as last year? I contains no info at all. They are supposed to have bin testing this for month? LOL it doesn't contain any info ffs so how can they even beta test something like that. Hahahahahahahaha

Now we have to wait a whole year to get another one. What is this?!?! I have been looking forward to this and this year I listened to wucha broad varietey and a large amount of music. I was really looking forward to this. 😞 Spotify, you've dun goofed.
