My “Your Update” Notifications

My Question or Issue:

I am no longer seeing the blue “Your Updates” dot or getting updates in this section of the app when people follow me or when followers save playlist. However, I can see these things are happening by changes in follower and playlist counts. I have removed downloads and cleared the cache several times. I have logged in and out twice in a row. I have deleted and reinstalled the app. Any ideas on if this is a widespread problem or if there is something I can do about it?

Hey, @MarieAtSea,

Perhaps there was a temporary connection issue - could you try again to see if everything looks good now? You can ask a friend or a relative to give you a follow, add songs to one of your collaborative playlists or create a brand new playlist to test with.

If the issue persists, I'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article - the process is more thorough than a regular reinstall as it helps get rid of any potentially corrupted cache and ensures you're running the latest version of the app available.
