My Question or Issue

 My account was hacked. I had to create this account to be able to contact spotify about this. This should be easier to contact you guys. my account was hacked, the email and password was changed and I cant get access into it. It is still being paid for from my family plan, but the person using it probably doesnt even live anywhere close to me. I have always had issues with spotify and have had to change my password multiple times because of this, but its too difficult to actually make contact. I got an email yesterday saying that the email to my account was changed. The email is was changed to is *snip* I did not change it. My account is not being paid for by the person who has taken it. This is really annoying and I would love if this could be fixed fast so I can just enjoy my music without the constant need for changing my password every 2 weeks.

Please follow the steps provided so we can secure your account.

 

Note: We may need a screenshot of your Spotify receipt or bank statement for security purposes. Please have this on-hand when getting in touch (and make sure it does not show your full credit card number, expiration date, or 3-digit code). 

  1. Go to our contact form.
  2. Select Account and login help.
  3. Choose I think someone is using my account
  4. Click I STILL NEED HELP.

We'll then take all the necessary steps to secure your account and return access to you.

 

Hopefully, Spotify Support can Help you gain your account back.

Well my account is connected through a family acount. I can show that the account is under that, but they dont live in the same house hold. They took the account and they probably dont live anywhere clsoe to me if spotify can look up the location records. Also the place you were directing me to is not up to date. The names you were instructing me to click no longer exist
