My account is synced to my name when i don't want it to be

Hi,

I am in a band called SLOES. We have only just got on Spotify so are having to aquire 250 followers before we can have an official band account. As a result at the moment our profile had no pic. I read that the only way to have a pic was to sync to facebook. My profile pic on facebook is the band logo anyway so I synced to my profile. Then I realised that made my name come up rather than Sloesmusic as it did before which we as a band didn't want. I un synced for this reason but it still says my name even though I am no longer synced. Please can somone explain a few things to me.

1. How do I stop  the sloesmusic spotify profile from having my name Jerome Clark on it when it comes up?

2. Why is my name coming up when I am no longer synced?

3. Why don't you let people and bands (before they get to 250 followers) have a picture that doesn't have to be synced to facebook?

4. Why do we need to have 250 followers? Getting people you know to follow you on spotify is really hard work due to the platform and the way it's set up.

If someone knows the ansers to these questions (especially 1 and 2) I would be very grateful.

Welcome to the community! You may find due to data caching in the client, that you still see Facebook information (such as the People list) hanging around, a quick clean reinstallation of the application should fix that for you.
