Need help getting a device password

Need help getting a device password

I'm using a Squeezebox Radio and wanted to listen to my Spotify music through it.

I went to my mysqueezebox.com and there you are required to enter a username and a password.

So I went to my Spotify account under "Set device password" where there's a button "send email to set password".

However, when I click on it, this message appears "We're sorry, your email address was not available, please try to log out, log back in and try again. If the problem continues, please contact support."

I tried this several times and it always keeps displaying this.

Any way to solve this problem?

If support replies you to check community for a solution or if you received your case number (#XXXXXXXX), please reply back even if there is "no reply" tag and tell that you still need help. If your inbox is empty please check spam.

Spotify is looking into an issue with device passwords at the moment. For now, the workaround is to head to facebook.com > Settings > Security > App passwords > Generate app passwords, and generate one to use with Spotify.
