Android

Looks like you need a clean install, which means deleting everything Spotify has created in your phone:

1. Uninstall the app from phone by going to 'Settings' -> 'Apps' then scroll to the Spotify app and tap on it. Once loaded press 'Uninstall'.
2. Using a file manager make sure that the below folders are deleted if they still exist:

  • /emulated/0/Android/data/com.spotify.music
  • /ext_sd/Android/data/com.spotify.music
  • /sdcard1/Android/data/com.spotify.music
  • /data/media/0/Android/data/com.spotify.music

You will lose all preferences & offline playlists in doing this.

@Callemxp210

What phone do you have?

Maybe the message is regarding to RAM memory. You may be having a lot of apps installed that eat up your RAM.

I have a brand new Samsung s7 edge and no I'm only using 5gb of storage out of 32gb

Wow. That's a great phone. You shouldn't be having any RAM or storage problems there.

The only problems that have been reported here regarding that phone is how it's needed to remove the Power Saving feature it has, as it messes things up.

Oh, well I don't have that on. Do u think it might be that my phone is fault because the other s7 edge I had ran perfectly fine on Spotify

How about other apps you use, have you seen anything weird also with them?

A hard reset would be something I'd consider, but since it erases everything I don't know if you're willing to do it.
