PLEASE HELP: Recently played

Every time I go to my profile there are three recently played artists. The problem is that I never listened to them and don't even know who they are. There are plenty of other artists I have listened a lot to and never seem to show up. I really don't want the current artists on the recently played because I don't want people to think I actually listen to them. How do I fix this?
