Hey @Stealthcruiser!
Thanks for giving that a try - sounds like it's being fussy. Not to worry though - let's try one more thing!
To change the display language of the Spotify website, visit www.spotify.com and scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. You should see a country flag and/or name displayed. If you click or tap on the flag, you should be able to change the display language of the Spotify website. You can also click here to select the website display language.
After changing this, the password reset page should be displayed in the language of the country you choose. If, for whatever reason it's still displaying in Spanish for you, and causing issues, I'd recommend contacting Spotify Support directly to see if they can initiate a password reset for your account.
You can contact support by filling this online contact form:
https://www.spotify.com/about-us/contact/contact-spotify-anonymous/
Reply to the automated email if you receive one (even if it says it is no-reply) and an agent will get back to you as soon as possible.
Let me know if this resolves your issue, and if so, be sure to LIKE and click the "Accept as Solution" button for this post. Happy Spotifying!
BAM!
This one worked, and much appreciated!
I'm guessin' now, that when I head back to South America, I'll be going through the same strokes again, Eh?
For your info, I tried all these same things last evening, after contacting "Spotify cares", on Facebook, with no resolution!
Hello @Stealthcruiser. Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community!
If I understand correctly, you're trying to reset your password, but are having a hard time since the Spotify login page keeps coming up in Spanish, correct? Certainly understandable how frustrating this can be - but let's get you on the right track!
You can manually access your desired language of the Spotify website by changing the URL/link to match your country code. So, if you're being directed to https://www.spotify.com/es/password-reset/ because you're currently travelling in Ecuador, you should be able to access the US English page by changing the "/es/" into "/us/" in the URL. So, like this:
https://www.spotify.com/us/password-reset/
If it continues to redirect to "/es/", you can try accessing the "/us/" link through a private browsing window/session using your favorite web browser on your device. I believe Firefox and Safari call it Private Window/Private Browsing, and Chrome calls it Incognito Mode. Copying and pasting https://www.spotify.com/us/password-reset/ into a private browsing session should allow you to access the reset page.
Let me know if this helps, and mark it as the Accepted Solution if it resolved it!
No help, on either option.
Same result on either "hot link".

Awesome to hear it let you change the language @Stealthcruiser - that's music to our ears. Great to hear you tried all these things before; sometimes technology needs a little push in the right direction to get working correctly. 🙂
It's very possible that you may see the website in Spanish again if you travel back to South America, simply because your IP address will be based down there. You should be able to repeat the same process again to change it though, so no worries on your travels.
