Play on Two Devices at once

Play on Two Devices at once

This is what I am trying to see if I can do:

Play a "go to sleep" playlist in my son's room to get him to sleep and "favorites" playlist on my laptop so I can do work (without falling asleep) simultaneously..

Would I be able to do that if I get premium?

Hey there Ceindy - welcome to the forums!

Yes, absolutely. Solution would be simple: you listen online and another device offline playlist. Yes, it's that simple.

With this Premium service you can enjoy 320 kbps sound content everywhere. One device online, up to 3 Offline. Also you will get no ads, awesome support here in Community, ability to use 3rd part devices like Spotify speakers, exclusive content and much more.

Very welcome to Spotify world of music. Enjoy your life and if you don't mind please tell me how you will use your Spotify with Premium 🙂 If any music suggestions, please keep these coming. I enjoy to listen music. I have Spotify Premium and I recommend this service to everyone. It just works like magic Big smile

Happy Spotifying!

I have a question about how to use a device offline. Do I just transfer my playlist to "available offline"? I'm sharing my account with my husband and we are having listening conflicts.

Hi! Great question!

On device, just click Available Offline button and songs will be downloaded on that list for Oflfine use. It needs Wifi-network or Mobile-network in the phone/tablet or Wifi/Ethernet on computer. When all downloaded, just select in App settings Offline mode on - so you can listen music "Offline" without interrupting Online streaming device. You need to go Online on that device once in 31 days, to verify account status, otherwise content will be removed and then needs to redownload.

It is also possible to get another premium account -50 % on Spotify site 🙂

Greetz!

Hi I would like to play on two devices at the same time for a house party. I.e. one speaker in each room both connected to Spotify. is this possible? Thanks

I have spotify premium family (2 users) and it wont let me use two devices at once?

I need two devices streaming online at the same time. How do I do this, I will pay whatever is required? What is the advantage of premium and family membership (which I have) if i can't already do this?

I also have the family plan and we are not able to listen at the same time. I'd like to know how to fix this as well.

Yeah, just download your playlist on one of the devices, and then go to settnings>playback>and turn offline on. Now your other device wont notice the other device that you have downloaded the playlist and are playing offline at.
