Playback on multiple devices at the same time

Playback on multiple devices at the same time

i want to be able to listen/download songs on one device without my other device detecting it. in other words, is there a way for two devices

to be on same account yet be totaly seperate from each other, not seeing each others songs, downloads etc. ?

Spotify is account based and all devices on an account synch with each other. To achieve what you want, you would need a second account.

Alternatively if you have premium, you can force the second device into offline mode and only listen to offline playlists on it.

Oh, I thought that "not seeing each others songs, downloads etc" would need two accounts @Peter__ 

Yeah that is true actually, although you could do a work around with playlist folders I guess!
