Plays a different song

Whenever I search for a song on Spotify, I find the song, but for whatever reason I can't play it. I'll click on the song, click on the play button next to it, but it always plays a different song.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome. 

Selecting a specific song to play is a feature only available for Premium subscribers in the mobile app. The free tier only gives you the option to play songs from the artist you've searched for, but in Shuffle mode.

However, this feature is available for all users in the Desktop app. We'd recommend giving it a try to see if the issue persists.
