My Question or Issue

Hi i started a three month premium trial via opera on <snip - Moderator Edit> but on my account it says I’m on a free account. Please advise.

Hey @Uli8, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

Could you let me know what your subscription status says here? If it says Free, follow these steps and attach a screenshot of your Receipts page. Make sure to hide sensitive information when you’re posting to the Community.

If it says Premium, try logging out > restart the device > log back in in the Spotify app, and let me know if you’re able to use your Premium features, such as no ads, unlimited skips.

You can also follow the steps provided in this support article and let me know if they make a difference.

Thanks for the screenshot. Can you try following the other steps in this support page? You may have signed up for Premium accidentally on another account? Also, I’d recommend trying to see if you can access of your Premium features and let me know how that goes. Please let me know the outcome of each step you follow on that support page.

I signed up for a free trial of premium via opera browser. I logged out and in again, still says free.

Thanks for the reply! Let’s check to make sure that the payment isn’t pending. If your payment is marked as ‘pending’ on your bank statement, it might not have gone through successfully. When you submit a payment, your bank puts the funds aside as ‘pending’. If the payment fails, the pending status will expire and the funds will be returned to you.

 

Also, the screenshot you shared with me is expected if you have a free trial. Can you send me a screenshot of what your account status shows on this page? Are you also able to access your Premium features through the Web Player?
