Premium cancelled when it says my card was declined

Premium cancelled when it says my card was declined

i've been paying 9.99 for a while now for spotify premium and today i found that it says my premium subscription ended when they couldnt get the money.  I then put my card information in again but im wondering if it will charge me again on top of the previous charge that I have proof of going through, and that i will need to pay more now as it says that it's 9.99 plus tax now where as before it was 9.99 in total

You shouldn't be charged twice. If you are, you can contact support for help.

 

Spotify charges tax in some areas depending on where you live. This has been the case for a few years now. How long have you had your subscription? It could be that the "tax wording" didn't show up because you subscribed a long time ago and your account page never updated with the new wording until now when you resubscribed with a new card.
