Premium trial, Student discount

I want to sign up for Premium and can get it cheaper with my NUS card. However, I obviously want the free trial! So how do I get the free trial and be signed up to start paying the student price?

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂 

You can do that! 😄

Just head over to https://www.spotify.com//freetrial/ and redeem your free trial, don't worry about it saying £9.99 (or whatever price) after the trial, the first month will still be free.

Once you have got your account set up, head to https://www.spotify.com/uk/nus/ and hit the sign up button, log in with your new premium trial account details, and complete the NUS verification. Your renewal price when your free trial ends will magically become £4.99 😉

Hi, you will have to get the normal free trial, and then cancel it.

When the free trial ends, you can get the NUS deal by going to http://spotify.com/nus 🙂

Ive accepted my free trial and put my details in.... 

Do I go onto the NUS part now or at the end of the trial? Bit confused, don't want to be charged for student before my free trial is up....

To be on the safe side, I would wait until near the end of your trial, and then activate your NUS discount but be sure to do it before the renewal date on your account.

To my knowledge, activating your NUS discount should still give you the 30 free trial before your first payment, but I have never had the opportunity to try this out myself!

BeenHoops - Peter is right, you'll get that free trial if you've applied the NUS discount or not.

Hi, I was currently on my student trial with a set payment of £9.99/month in another 2 weeks. I put in my updated my card details and redeemed the student code and I still kept the trial 🙂

I just applied for Spotify premium student and I didn't get one month free. I was automatically charged $4.99 

What am I suppose to do?
