Problem of email adress

Problem of email adress

I have 2 email addresses. One I no longer use or have access to. My Problem is it's a Premium account. My new email I can not put the premium account on. Some help me please

Hi Derdawg,

 

This is actually a quick fix!

  1. Log into your Spotify account on a web browser
  2. Click Edit Profile
  3. Under Email, enter your new email address
  4. Make sure you confirm your password
  5. Click Save Profile

You're all set! Hope this helps.

It says that the e mail is already in use, but its mine.??

If you have an account, and you're trying to update the email, keep in mind you'll need to use one that's not in use on another account. It is possible you have more than one account. To verify this, go to password reset and enter possible email addresses you own. When you enter an email that's registered with Spotify, you'll get a password reset message for that email.

 

If you're certain you didn't create an additional account with the email you're trying to use, the best way to go would be to reach out to our CS team. They can help you check the accounts you own and freeing up the email address you're referring to (if you never used it to register on the app). You can find how to contact them here.
